Gates, fences, access control, surveillance and network — all five layers, installed and serviced in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles covers everything from Hollywood Hills and Los Feliz estates to Westside multifamily, Valley industrial yards and retail storefronts on busy corridors. Gate and block-wall combinations on hillside drives, anti-climb fencing around warehouses, tenant access for apartment buildings and camera systems for storefronts make up most of our LA work. We pull the parcel's zoning and overlays before drawing a line.
In the City of Los Angeles, LADBS permits perimeter work and the height rules are tight: its fence bulletin (P/BC 2023-002) caps a fence in the required front yard at 3½ feet in R zones and 6 feet in A and RA zones, allows 8 feet at the side and rear on lots at least 40 feet wide outside the Hillside Area (6 feet otherwise), and up to 8 feet in a required yard takes City Planning approval. Parcels in the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone carry LAFD brush clearance, and a gate across a private street or access road LAFD requires must meet its gate rules, and stretches of the Westside and the coastal canyons fall under separate specific-plan or Coastal review. We pull the parcel's zoning and overlays before drawing a line.
Los Angeles gate work runs from hillside driveway gates in Los Feliz and the Hollywood Hills, where the drive is steep and the operator is sized for it, to truck-rated slide gates on Valley industrial yards, all drawn to LADBS height rules and any hillside or fire-zone overlay.
LA fencing is anti-climb lines around warehouses and yards, block walls and ornamental steel on hillside estates, and street-facing fencing held to the 42-inch front-yard cap unless a variance is in hand. We pull the parcel's zoning before drawing a line.
Los Angeles access control is tenant access and intercom directories for apartment buildings, credentialed vehicle gates with a log for yards and warehouses, and video intercoms and plate recognition for estates.
LA camera systems cover storefronts on busy corridors, warehouse yards and docks, apartment garages and estate drives, aimed for identification at the entry and detection along the line, and recorded on a private NVR.
Los Angeles sites range from a rack in an older Westside building to a yard where the gate is hundreds of feet from the office, so the network work is certified cabling, fiber where copper won't reach, PoE switching and backup power.
