Gates, fences, access control, surveillance and network — all five layers, installed and serviced in Castaic.
Castaic is newer HOA tracts like Williams Ranch and Hasley Canyon alongside larger ranch and equestrian parcels toward Val Verde and Lake Hughes Road. Typical work is a driveway gate on an acre-plus lot, fencing that keeps livestock in and coyotes out, and cameras covering outbuildings and a long private road. It is a few exits up the I-5 from our Valencia shop, so a Castaic call carries no travel lead time.
Castaic is unincorporated Los Angeles County, so gate, fence and wall permits run through the County — Regional Planning for setbacks and zoning, Building & Safety out of the Santa Clarita office for the structural and electrical sign-off. Many of the newer tracts — Williams Ranch, Hillcrest, Hasley Canyon — also sit inside an HOA whose design review has to clear before the County permit, and our Valencia shop is close enough up the I-5 that a Castaic site walk carries no travel lead time.
Castaic gate work is driveway gates on acre-plus lots and ranch entrances toward Val Verde and Lake Hughes Road, with long spans, solar or trenched power, and HOA-matched pickets in the newer Williams Ranch and Hasley Canyon tracts.
Castaic fencing is the ranch and equestrian line: runs that keep livestock in and coyotes out, anti-climb where a parcel meets open space, and HOA-standard fencing in the newer tracts. Footings are sized for the soil and the wind coming off the lake.
Castaic access control is a keypad or app-entry gate on a long private drive, a video intercom at the house, and credentialed vehicle gates with a log for contractor and equipment yards.
Castaic camera systems cover outbuildings, barns and a long private road, mounted for the night shot with recording on a private NVR at the property, since the nearest neighbor may be well out of sight.
Castaic lots are large enough that a gate or barn is routinely beyond copper range from the house, so fiber or a wireless bridge to the entrance, PoE switching and backup power on the operator are the usual scope.
