Nice is the Italian automation group founded in 1993, which entered the US market in 2008, and its North American arm hosts the Apollo manuals on its HySecurity support site. Nice says its Apollo linear actuators are designed, tested and built in the USA from globally sourced materials. The range centers on the 816 linear actuator used in the 1500, 1550 and 1551 systems, run by the 636, 936, 1050 or Mercury 310 controllers.

AL flashing with the alarm sounding is a hard shutdown: the gate met two obstructions back to back. Clear whatever is in the gate's path, then press RESET to clear it. If it keeps happening, the gate or the force setting needs attention.

Usually, yes. Nice still posts manuals for older controllers such as the 835/836, 1050 and 936, and the current 816 actuator works with the 936, 1050 and Mercury 310. We confirm parts for your unit before scheduling, and quote a current Nice controller where a board is no longer available.
