CAME is an Italian automation group headquartered in Treviso, with its US subsidiary, CAME Americas Automation, in Miami Lakes, Florida. Its US gate operator range includes the FROG underground operator and the BX, BK, ATS, AXO, FERNI and STYLO lines, alongside barriers, bollards, intercoms and parking systems. CAME's newer control boards, such as the ZM3E and ZLJ24, report faults as plain-text error messages.
Don't see yours? Text a photo of the operator label and we'll tell you whether we can support it.
We find the fault first and put it in writing with the price. Nothing gets replaced on a guess.
Servicing equipment other companies installed is most of our repair work. We document what is there and take it from where it is.

Underground, swing and slide operators, including the FROG-A, FROG-A24, FROG-AE and FROG-A24E, and the BX, BK, ATS and FERNI lines. If your model is not listed, text a photo of the label and we will tell you whether we can support it.
On the ZM3E and ZLJ24 boards, each message names the fault: "Encoder - ERROR" is a disconnected or broken encoder, "Safety test - ERROR" a photocell wiring or setup problem, "Limit-switch - ERROR" a limit contact fault, and "Operating time - ERROR" means the maximum work time was reached.
Usually, yes. We confirm parts for your exact model and control board before scheduling. If a part is no longer available, we quote a retrofit to a current UL 325 listed operator instead.
Repair it when the motor and mounting are sound and parts are available. Replace it when the same unit keeps failing, the parts are gone, or the operator no longer suits the site, such as an underground unit in a box that keeps flooding.
It depends on the fault, the operator type and how easily we can reach it. We diagnose on site and give you the price in writing before any work. The estimate is free.
