Viking Access Systems was founded in Irvine, California in 2003 and is still based there. Since April 2019 it has been part of FAAC International, the US subsidiary of Italy's FAAC Group. Viking makes pad-mounted, linear, underground and solar operators for swing and slide gates. The F-1 runs on Viking's V-Flex control board, which reports faults as error messages on an LCD display, and Viking still posts manuals for its discontinued models.
Don't see yours? Text a photo of the operator label and we'll tell you whether we can support it.
We find the fault first and put it in writing with the price. Nothing gets replaced on a guess.
Servicing equipment other companies installed is most of our repair work. We document what is there and take it from where it is.

Usually, yes. Viking lists models such as the Q-7, X-9, i-8 and the first-generation F-1 as discontinued and still posts their manuals. We confirm parts for your exact unit before scheduling, and quote a retrofit to a current model when a part is no longer available.
Repair it when the motor and gearbox are sound and parts are available. Replace it when the same unit keeps failing, the parts are gone, or the gate is heavier or longer than the operator is rated for.
