Gates, fences, access control, surveillance and network — all five layers, installed and serviced in Agoura Hills.
Agoura Hills spans Old Agoura's ranch lots, the neighborhoods around Lake Lindero, Liberty Canyon and Hillrise, and gated enclaves such as Medea Valley Estates. The Woolsey Fire burned through in November 2018 and the Kenneth Fire brought evacuation warnings in January 2025, so a gate here is judged on how it behaves without power as much as with it. We repair driveway gates and install camera systems across the city.
Agoura Hills issues its own permits through the Building and Safety Division of Planning and Community Development. Its zoning code caps fences and walls in a required front yard at 3½ feet; on flag lots and lots of 15,000 square feet or more, the director may allow up to 6 feet if the fence stays open enough to keep cars entering and leaving visible. Fire service comes from the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County, Stations 65 on Cornell Road and 89 on Canwood Street.
Agoura Hills gate repairs run from ranch-style gates on Old Agoura lots to driveway and community gates in the newer tracts. SCE shut off power to parts of the city in November 2024, so the written diagnosis covers the battery under load and the manual release.
Agoura Hills camera systems cover a drive off a canyon or ranch road, the gate, and a rear line against open hillside, with recording on a private NVR at the house. Battery backup for the recorder and switch is sized for the shutoffs SCE runs during Santa Ana wind events.
