The range covers electromechanical and hydraulic swing operators, underground operators such as the ELI 250 BT, slide operators, barriers and bollards. BFT's THALIA control board, which lists the ELI 250 BT among its motor types, shows numbered Er codes on a display; the ELI 250 BT manual itself refers to BFT's ARIES control unit.

On a THALIA board the code names the circuit: Er01 to Er08 are failed photocell or safety edge tests, Er2x an encoder error, Er3x a reversal after an obstacle, and Er4x thermal cutout, meaning the operator needs to cool. We read the code before replacing anything.
Usually, yes. We confirm parts for your exact model before scheduling. If a part is no longer available, we quote a retrofit to a current UL 325 listed operator instead.
Repair it when the motor and mounting are sound and parts are available. Replace it when the same unit keeps failing, the parts are gone, or the operator no longer suits the site, such as an underground unit in a box that keeps flooding.
