Height alone stops almost nobody — what makes a fence anti-climb is whether there's anything to grip, stand on, or cut through quietly. We spec against how fences actually fail: infill with no hand-hold, no horizontal rail on the outside face, footings sized for the soil, and a crown that denies a grip
Castaic is unincorporated Los Angeles County, so gate, fence and wall permits run through the County — Regional Planning for setbacks and zoning, Building & Safety out of the Santa Clarita office for the structural and electrical sign-off. Many of the newer tracts — Williams Ranch, Hillcrest, Hasley Canyon — also sit inside an HOA whose design review has to clear before the County permit, and our Valencia shop is close enough up the I-5 that a Castaic site walk carries no travel lead time.

Panels welded and finished in our shop.
Footings poured, panels hung, conduit run for future cameras.
Scoped to your property, not a flat per-item rate. These are the factors that move the number, in the order they usually matter.
Mesh apertures too small for fingers or boot toes, no horizontal rail on the outside face, and a crown that denies a hand-hold. Height alone stops almost nobody.
Yes. Vehicle impact, storm damage, rusted posts and sagging panels — we splice into the existing run and match the finish.
Yes, and it's far cheaper to plan for it. We run conduit along the line while the trench is open.
