Off-track, won't open, or stuck somewhere in between: this is the call we get most, and it's almost always an automation failure rather than the gate itself, whether an operator run past its duty cycle, a loop that stopped detecting, or hinges and rollers carrying more weight than they were sized for. We diagnose the actual failure before replacing anything, and we service gates we didn't install as readily as our own.
Hidden Hills is a gated city, and two bodies split the work. The Hidden Hills Community Association controls gate access and guards, perimeter cameras, architectural review and the white 3-rail fencing; the City issues building and grading permits, with Building and Safety run under contract by Transtech. The association's standards say front driveway gates must have the appearance of white 3-rail fencing, so a replacement gate is drawn to that before it goes to the committee.
Hidden Hills gate repair works inside the association's rules. HHCA's standards fix the look: a front driveway gate has the appearance of white 3-rail fencing and can't read as solid. They don't address the operator behind it, and that's ours to diagnose and repair, with the diagnosis written before any work. A replacement leaf goes to the committee before it's built.
Repair pages for each operator model, written from the manufacturer's manual: the common faults, the codes, and when repair stops making sense. Model not listed? Text us a photo of the operator's label.
We also repair Elite, Chamberlain, Eagle, Linear, Ramset and Ghost Controls gate operators.
We repair gates for homes, HOAs and commercial properties. Managing an HOA or a property-managed entry? See HOA & community gate service, with quarterly service agreements billed through your management company.
Same-day for anything stuck open or stuck shut.
We identify the actual failure before quoting a fix.
Parts, welding or realignment — whatever the diagnosis calls for.
Loops, photo eyes and manual release verified before we leave.
Scoped to your property, not a flat per-item rate. These are the factors that move the number, in the order they usually matter.
Two bodies. The Hidden Hills Community Association handles architectural review, gate access, perimeter cameras and the 3-rail fencing; the City issues building and grading permits. The association says building without its approval will likely bring a Stop Work Notice, so a replacement gate goes to its committee first.
Under the association's Architectural Standards, front driveway gates must have the appearance of white 3-rail fencing and may not look solid, and wood posts are limited to 6 by 6 inches and 72 inches tall. Perimeter fences are white 3-rail, 48 inches high. A repair keeps the existing look; a replacement is drawn to these standards.
The Architectural Standards don't include rules for gate operators. The operator, board, loops and safety devices are what we diagnose and repair, with the diagnosis written before any work starts.
Through one of the three staffed gates, Long Valley, Round Meadow or Burbank, which manage who comes and goes. Let the gate know our company name and the visit time before the appointment.
On battery, for a limited number of cycles. The city has warned residents to prepare for longer and more extensive Public Safety Power Shutoffs, so test the battery before fire season and know where the manual release is.
Same-day dispatch for anything stuck open or stuck shut, with the gate left safe and operable either way while we source any parts.
Yes. We survey the existing gate, check the frame and hinges will take the load, and repair or upgrade what's there.
Most repeat failures trace back to an operator sized for far fewer cycles than the gate actually runs. We size the replacement to your real traffic, not the original spec.
